Jusin's Heart is a photography business located in the Indian Lake area in Ohio. It was recently started by Christine Whitsett in memory of her son Justin who passed away right before his fourth birthday on February 10t, 1989.
Justin was born with Down syndrome, but he also had a multitude of health problems that are sometimes common in children with Down syndrome.
Christine says "Everyday that I was able to hold him was a gift. His life was a blessing, he was always smiling and showing love to others even during his darkest and most painful days. "
The family was told that Justin was terminally ill and Christine desperately wanted to have portraits taken of her precious son. Due to his health conditions, she was unable to work and finances were low and/or not available.

Making A
The days spent at the hospital were long and lonely. Christine recalls " If not for the kindness and encouragement of others, I wouldn't have made it "
Justin's passing left a huge void in Christine's heart, and in the hearts of everyone that knew him and loved him.
Through all years of grief that followed, Christine always felt the need to give back to people because of the kindness that was shown to her by others when Justin was alive. She started photographing children with special needs at no cost to the parents, and that is how Justin's Heart came to be.
Then one day, a few years back, Christine came in to contact with a mother who happened to have a child with Down syndrome. It was an opportunity for her to offer her photographic services, however, the mother was not able to set time aside to have pictures taken of her baby boy "Quincey" and so that never came to be.
