F or the third consecutive summer , the FC Barcelona men ’ s first team will be travelling to the United States during the preseason for a tour of friendly matches . Once again , this year ’ s competition features an outstanding line-up , with three rivals of the calibre of Manchester City , on 30 July , Real Madrid , on 3 August , and AC Milan , on 6 August , in Orlando , New Jersey and
Baltimore , respectively .
While last year ' s tour was mainly based on the west coast of the country , with matches in Los Angeles , Las Vegas and Dallas ( the match in Santa Clara against Juventus was not played due to a significant part of the squad being unavailable ), FC Barcelona is changing the location this year , in 2024 , and will be visiting the east coast of the country , where various institutional and social activities will take place to promote the Club in this part of the country in addition to the scheduled matches .
The FC Barcelona touring party will leave Barcelona on 28 July and two days later , on 30 July , the Barça team will play its first match against Manchester City at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando , a stadium with a capacity for 60,219 spectators that hosted four matches in the 1994 World Cup . It will be the first time in history that Barça will play in this city in the state of Florida and also its first match against the team of former FC Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola on US soil . The first duel between FC Barcelona and the Citizens took place on 24 August 2022 at Spotify Camp Nou in the friendly match in benefit of the fight against ALS , promoted by Juan Carlos Unzué .

FC Barcelona ’ s first opponent on its US tour in 2024 will be Pep Guardiola ’ s Manchester City , European and Premier League champions in 2023 . The duel will take place on Tuesday 30 July ( 7 p . m . in Orlando , which will be Wednesday 31 July at 1 a . m . Barcelona time ) and will be the first serious test of the new 2024 / 25 Barça . Barça will next play against Real Madrid and AC Milan in the pre-season .
THE VENUE The showdown will take place at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando . With a capacity for 60,219 fans , it was built in 1936 to host football and American football matches . It was the venue for the 1994 World Cup , the 2016 Copa América Centenario and has hosted other friendly football matches and events . At the 33rd edition of WrestleMania , the professional wrestling event produced by WWE , held on 2 April 2017 , a record crowd of 75,245 spectators attended the stadium , thanks to extra bleachers .
FOURTH ‘ CLÁSICO ’ IN THE UNITED STATES As usual in recent years , the tour of the United States will also include an FC Barcelona - Real Madrid match . It will be played on 3 August at MetLife Stadium , in the state of New Jersey , very close to New York City . It is a stadium with a capacity for 82,500 spectators , home to the New York Giants and the New York Jets of the NFL and the venue for the 2026 World Cup final . It will be the sixth time Barça have played there and the fourth ‘ Clásico ’ on US soil , an event that has become a regular fixture on the country ’ s summer calendar .
At the moment , the balance of these encounters is clearly in favour of Barça , which has racked up three victories in three matches : 3-2 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami in 2017 ; 1-0 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in 2022 and 0-3 at the AT & T Stadium in Arlington in 2023 .
The tour will end on 6 August in Baltimore , a city that Barça has never visited before . This is where last year ' s duel with AC Milan in the United States will be repeated . On that occasion , the match was played at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas , and Xavi ’ s team won 1-0 . This year the venue will be the M & T Bank Stadium , with a capacity for 71,000 spectators and home of the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL .
