Easy ways to fundraise for Clapham NCT

NCT is a charity and receives no Government funding in its work - we depend on donations to provide vital services and support to new & expectant parents.
Income comes from NCT membership, NCT course fees, donations, grants, commerical fundraising and NCT trading, as well as the community fundraising activities undertaken at a branch level.
Branches must ensure that their local activities are self-funding and this provision of local services is their priority, but they are also expected to contribute a proportion of their surplus funds to the wider charity to support branch development around the country as well as contributing to NCT services and activities.
London branches have historically, and remain significant fundraisers for NCT, and it is something we are immensely proud of and motivated by. Clapham branch is regularly commended by NCT for our fundraising activities.
Here are some easy ways you can help up with our fundraising; ensuring there are funds to continue all our fantastic local services and activities, as well as contributing to the amazing work of NCT nationally.
1. Support our activities and events! Come along to our playgroups, coffee mornings, nearly new sales, social events. If you have an idea for a fundraising activity or would like to join our fundraising team, get in touch as we'd love to hear from you. Contact Laura on [email protected].
2. Display an Hamptons International Clapham NCT Nearly New Sale advertising board for three weeks before the sale. We receive a per board donation from Hamptons International. Contact Natalie on [email protected].
3. Tell our advertisers and supporters that you saw them in our magazine. Talk to your favourite local businesses and activity providers about advertising in our magazine or at our events. Contact Kathryn on [email protected].
4. Consider making a one-off donation to keep our free weekly branch breastfeeding drop-in open via www.justgiving.com/claphamnct.
5. Turn your online shopping into donations for Clapham NCT by registering with easyfundraising.org.uk.
6. Become a member, renew your membership or give membership as a gift to expectant parents. As well as supporting our charity, membership entitles you to priority entry to NCT nearly new sales, branch and national NCT publications and communications, discounts at NCT shop and local businesses, low-cost holidays through NCT family house swap.
