Hi Everyone and welcome to SPEC. We are all excited to have you on board with Murdoch's new Education Society. My name is Krystal Jager and I am in my fourth and final year of a Bachelor of Early Childhood and Primary Education. During the past four years I have helped teach at Primary schools in both Fiji and Africa, as well as Australia. These were amazing experiences which I could do through volunteering. Never hesitate to volunteer at any school, even overseas. This will provide you with experiences that you will never forget. My study advice for you is to shut down facebook.... (I hope that made you laugh). Seriously though facebook can be either your friend or worst enemy in study. I say this because you can use facebook to procrastinate (enemy) or use it to help your study by joining facebook groups relevant to your degree and units (friend). Use it wisely. I wish you the best of luck with your course and I look forward to meeting you.
