There are many ways to make flashcards, and many uses for them in all levels of education. A great way to preserve and colour code your flashcards is by using sleeves, binders and boxes generally used for gaming cards, like Pokémon or Magic: The Gathering cards. Card sleeves are small plastic sleeves that are clear plastic on one side and can be clear or coloured on the other side, sometimes even with pictures like the My Little Pony ones below. Each of my flashcard sets are split into difficulty levels by using different coloured sleeves. Folders and binders are great to keep your flashcards in they're the perfect size because they are made specifically for them. I keep all my maths cards in one folder and my literacy cards in another. Once I have more cards it would be great to group them in different coloured folders by difficulty, subject or group as well. Card boxes are great for activity cards or cards that you want students to get out and use a lot. For example, I have question cards and photo prompts in card boxes as they are easy to get out and use and the order they're in isn't a concern. This box is great for maths as you can put flashcards in the top and counters in the bottom.
