News Welcome to Speak Out News Spring is a wonderful time of year with the weather getting better and days becoming longer. It is also a really good time to try new activities and visit new places. In Speak Out News you will find information about some exciting new workshops, free days out and new groups that Speak Out members told us they would like to take part in. We would love to see you at our AGM! At the end of April we are starting a new arts and crafts course in Brentford. We are very lucky to have Jackie Roberts a professional jewellery maker to show you how to make jewellery, sew and make greetings cards. Jackie Roberts The first Weigh2Lose group for adults with learning disabilities starts in Isleworth. At this group you will learn about healthy eating and do some light exercise. This will help you to lose weight and feel fitter and stronger, ready for the summer! Finally, the Kew Bridge Steam Museum has given Speak Out members the chance to visit the museum for free on Wednesday 23rd April. The museum has had a lot of work done to it and there will be lots of new and exciting things to look at. There’s also free tea and biscuits too! Please ring Jo Chapman if you want to take part in any of the activities. Enjoy the Springtime. Very Best Wishes, 1 Sally Nick Sally Malit & Nick Benjamin Speak Out Co-Directors
