B&O PLAY and
Opening Ceremony
have partnered up
to bring you what
we’ve dubbed “The
Sound of Fashion” –
a vibrant, vivid and
playful approach
to music, design and
fashion. This exciting
partnership is kicked
off with an eyecatching music video
featuring the up-andcoming hip-house
sensation Maluca.
THE SOUND OF
FASHION BY OPENING
CEREMONY AND B&O
The collaboration that was announced today between B&O PLAY and Opening Ceremony
revolves around a limited edition of the iconic Form 2i headphones that were originally
launched in 1985 – and re-launched this year with an added microphone, remote and
improved comfort design.
The Opening Ceremony-designed version of Form 2i is a cheeky and playful take on what
can truly be classified as a design icon because of the place the headphones occupy at the
permanent collection at MoMA in New York.
The headphones are also central in the aforementioned music video where Maluca discovers
a whole new dimension to life in New York City when she puts on a pair of Form 2i and the
whole city erupts in an animated colour-explosion. The video features Maluca’s brand new
single “Trigger” – a sure-fire hit destined to get people dancing all through the summer.
Another important element of the Opening Ceremony X B&O PLAY partnership are listening
stations that will placed in the Opening Ceremony stores in both New York and London.
