TIMING AND RESULTS
THERE WILL BE BATCH STARTS OF +/ - 200 ENTRANTS PER BATCH .
• All contenders for prizes / elite runners MALE and FEMALE will start in the front in BATCH A
• The results from this A group will be done on a “ GUN to FINISH MAT “ basis
• The WPA referees will in addition to the electronic finish times , also monitor and produce these results manually , for the specific age categories
• There will also be 7 additional BATCHES of
200 people each Non Elite Runners – namely BATCHES B / C / D / E / F / G / H / I starting at approximately 2 minute intervals
• This will total a maximum of 1400 people of all running levels – no seeding system
• The results for these batches will be electronically produced on race day by the official chip timing system on a mat to mat basis
A quick guide on how to wear your race number
Your timing chip has been placed on the front of your race number . The race number must be worn on the front of your vest and visible at the finish line
There is a foam backing on the back of the race number . Please do not remove the timing chip and foam strip from the race number – doing so will result in NO finish time
