Queen Elizabeth II  passed away on September 8, 2022. She served as the head of state for the Commonwealth of Nations and the United Kingdom beginning on February 6, 1952.

During her lifetime, she led 15 different nations and ruled over 32 distinct kingdoms. With a reign that has spanned 70 years, she holds the record for the longest reign of any British Monarch or female head of state.

Elizabeth and Philip, the Duke and Duchess of York, had their first child together in Mayfair, which is in the city of London. When Elizabeth's father, King Edward VIII, abdicated his throne in 1936, it presented her with the best opportunity to succeed him as monarch and pave the path for her future coronation.

She served her country during the World Wars, enlisting in the Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS) Her marriage to Philip Mountbatten, who was a member of the royal houses of Greece and Denmark, took place in 1947. In the year 2021, he departed from this earth.

She and her husband, Philip, are the proud parents of four children: Charles, Anne, Andrew, and Edward. At the age of 25, Elizabeth became queen of seven different Commonwealth states when her father passed away in the year 1952. Just a few instances would be the countries of the United Kingdom, Canada, Oceania, and South Africa.

The island nation of Ceylon has just become a member of the British Commonwealth (now known as Sri Lanka). In addition, she consented to take over as the new head of the Commonwealth.

The troubles in Northern Ireland, devolution in the United Kingdom, the end of colonial rule in Africa, and the United Kingdom's entry and exit from the European Union all occurred during Elizabeth's reign as a constitutional monarch. These events took place when Elizabeth was constitutionally governing the country.

During her reign, some of her nations achieved independence from her rule and became republics, which resulted in a shrinking of the size of her empire. She began her travels in China in 1986, continued to Russia in 1994, and finally visited Ireland in 1996.

These are just a few of the events that she has participated in throughout the years. In addition to that, she has had interactions with five different Popes. Commemorations of Queen Elizabeth's reign have been marked by a series of jubilees at regular intervals of sixty years, beginning with her coronation in 1953 and continuing through her silver, gold, diamond, and platinum anniversaries.

Each of these milestones was preceded by a period of sixty years. Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom had the second-longest reign in the history of the world, behind Louis XIV of France. She was simultaneously the queen with the longest reign and the oldest monarch still alive, and she held both distinctions at the same time.

The republics attitude toward her family and the media's criticism of them grew after the failed marriages of her children, her annus horribilis in 1992 (Also known as the Queens Year of Misfortune, In 1992, the Duke and Duchess of York divorced, Windsor Castle burned, and Prince Charles and Princess Diana clashed), and the death of Diana, Princess of Wales in 1997; nonetheless, she was still had to deal with her people daily.

She did, however, find fault with Republicans on occasion. Despite this, there is still a lot of support for the monarchy, and Queen Elizabeth II is held in very high regard. Elizabeth passed away peacefully at Balmoral Castle in Aberdeenshire in the year 2022.

She passed away only a few short months after celebrating her Platinum Jubilee before her life ended. Her death led to Charles III's ascension to the throne of England very shortly after.
