Meet our Board Members!
Jon Wise • President Elect
Currently, I hold the title of Branch Manager at ABR Employment Services
here in our Sparta Branch. At ABR, we use our deep relationships with local
companies to match job seekers to administrative, call center, light industri-
al, skilled industrial or professional office positions they’re qualified for. We
provide a variety of customized staffing solutions to clients within these job
sectors. ABR Employment Services is the only Wisconsin staffing agency
with multiple branch locations to receive the double Diamond Award for
providing exceptional service to clients and the talent we serve.
I am now serving my 3rd year on the Chamber of Commerce Board of Di-
rectors. Last year I was elected to become the new President following the
current one’s term. I now hold the title of President Elect. Throughout my 3
years of being a Board Member, I have participated in various events. I have
mainly been a key contributor to the planning and running of the Sparta
Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing every August. I am now involved
with planning our yearly Cabin Fever event and on the planning committee.

It’s wonderful to be able to work in a community that I love. I am working
in a profession that allows me to have control of where and when, to some
degree of what I am doing. I am a bit of a “late bloomer”, having started this
when I was 49! I love what I do and am grateful every day for the
opportunity to be able to continue doing this. Having moved many times
in my married life, my husband, Gordie was in the Navy, and then 10 years
with a defense contractor. I have great empathy for what my clients are
experiencing and try my best to make their experience as pain-free as
possible, whether it be buyers or sellers.
I was born and raised in Sparta, so my roots are here, and I love the
Midwest. Being a member of the board on Sparta’s Chamber of Commerce
has given me another perspective of our community, and it has been a won-
derful experience.
As we go into the holiday season, I wish everyone a joyful and safe holiday.
