FOOD DRIVE UNDERWAY AT
All American
As the “Stay at Home” executive order continues to be in place by the
State of Wisconsin, the team at All American Do it Center recognizes
that there are many families in need right now. Now, through the end of
the “Stay At Home” executive order, All American Stores will be a drop
off location for non-perishable items.
The “Building Communities Food Drive” collection will take place at all
three stores, located in Tomah, Sparta, and Richland Center. “We know
that there are many families in need right now, because there are so many
area residents that are not allowed to go to work, or have been laid off.
It’s also taking time for unemployment or the CARES ACT stimulus
to reach many people, and in the meantime, we wanted to help out,”
commented director of operations for All American, Jake Buswell. “In
trying to keep the Coronavirus spread to a minimum, the Food Pantries
prefer to limit the amount of traffic at their pantries to those that are in
need. But they are also in need of many items to restock their pantry. So,
with us being a drop off location, we can help them reduce the traffic of
visitors at their locations. With demand high and supplies getting low,
even the smallest of donations will be appreciated by those in need right
now,” concluded Buswell.
Donations collected will be delivered weekly to the Neighbor for Neighbor Food Pantry in Tomah, Coulee Cap Monroe County Food Pantry in
Sparta, and Richland Community Food Pantry in Richland Center. If you’re not sure what to bring, there’s a list of items in particular need for each
pantry, which you can find at our website, AllAmericanDoitCenter.com/Food-Drive. Non-Perishable Donations can be dropped off during our store
hours, 7-5 Monday through Friday, 8-5 on Saturday, or 9-5 on Sunday.
