On February 15th Rachelle Witherow, owner of Speckled
Hen Paint & Create Studio, celebrated her grand opening.
Representatives of the Sparta Area Chamber of Commerce
participated in a ribbon cutting.
Speckled Hen Paint & Create Studio is a local, woman veter-
an owned business that will provide the Sparta Area with
local handmade crafts and art and provide a place for mem-
bers of the community to find their own creative outlet
through classes and individual projects.
On February 20th Robert Bollig and Jacob Forseth, tax spe-
cialists from Clifton Larson Allen, spoke at our Tax Law
Update- Brunch and Learn event held in Ginny’s Cupboard.
Attendees learned about important updates and changes to this
year’s taxes, including recent revisions that are retroactive to
last year’s filing. CLA is a chamber member and supporter
and has provided this update annually for several years.
