HEARTSAVER CPR/AED COURSE
Sudden cardiac arrest is the leading
cause of death in the U.S., with nearly
4 of 5 cases occurring outside a hospital.
With training, you can improve the chances of survival.
The “Heartsaver CPR/AED” course targets lay responders,
including coaches, teachers, day care providers and anyone
interested in learning more about CPR and automated external
defibrillators (AED).
Students are trained in:

How to use barrier devices
Relief of foreign body airway obstruction
Automated external defibrillation in adults,
children and infants

Upon successful completion of the course, including a CPR and
automated external defibrillator skills test, students receive a
“Heartsaver CPR/AED” course completion card that is valid for
