Annual Banquet Entertainment Announced
Sparta Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and Banquet
Mark your calendars and reserve your tickets for an event you won’t want to
miss! The Chamber’s 2019 Annual Meeting will take place on Thursday, January
17, at Jake’s Restaurant. In addition to a great dinner, awards, a short business
meeting, and recognitions, our featured guest is Michael Perry - New York Times
Bestselling Author, Humorist, Singer/Songwriter, and Intermittent Pig Farmer.
Mr. Perry has written for numerous publications, including Esquire, the New York
Times Magazine, Salon, and the Utne Reader. A contributing editor to Men's
Health, he lives in northern Wisconsin with his family. His books include
Population:485, Truck: A Love Story, and The Jesus Cow: A Novel. Mr. Perry’s
appearance at the annual meeting is made possible by a generous donation of the
Mayo Clinic Health System.
Tickets for the banquet on January 17 are $25. Platinum members receive 8
complimentary tickets, gold members receive 4, and silver and bronze members
receive 2 complimentary tickets. Reservations for the annual dinner must be
