“ Education is an all-round development”
which RIS aims
at imparting in the best way. The house system helps the students in inculcating
the values of co-operation, competitive spirit, hard work and sense of identity.
The academic year 2016 -17 has been a glorious one for the
Dates House. With a beautiful logo imprinted on it, the flag of Dates House is
always held high ascertaining its power and glory in Rajagiri. We have always
adhered to our motto that, the competition is not about winning or losing ,but it
all about participating with good sportsman spirit. In the sports event, Dates
House bagged the first place in the Junior category (Grade 3-5) and became the
runner up in the Lower Primary (Grade 1&2) category. Dates also brought laurels
in the swimming gala. In inter school competitions and other art competitions too
Dates has showcased a fine performance.
“Leader ship is the capacity to translate vision in to reality”. Our
principal Mrs. Arundhati Rawat, Vice-Principal Mrs. Bishara Noorudeen, Primary
Supervisor Mrs. Shanti Venkataraman and Senior Supervisor Mr. Mohammed
Shafiq helped make the quote in to reality. I would like to thank the Asst. House
Mistress Mrs.Rini John, Grade in charge Mrs. Nasreen, Mr.Prithvi, Mrs.Manu
Mrs.Lakshmipriya, Mrs.Reena Dinesh and all my team mates for their valuable
support. I thank our PE teachers Mrs. Jayanthi Nishan, Mr.K.K.Reji, Mr.Renil John,
Mr.Amjad for their guidance. Over all my heartiest thanks to the Dates House
Captain Rajula C.P and all our house members.
