SCHOOLS – A BASIC NECESSITY We have lots of avenues for education. There are companies, shops, private tutors, sports academies and vocational institutes, etc. These give apprenticeship for the new comers, to give lessons and subject related expertise to the students and to train people in specific sports and talents.

Each one of these is a school in its own right. Each one has its own place in the society and learning cycle of a person.
But, one thing, which these are not, is a basic foundation creator. The rules of spoken English, on how to create a word or write a sentence, why counting is necessary; to learn to give and accept. And, the training of the mind, on how to select a field of interest, etc. These are not taught here.
For all of these, a basic school is a necessity. It is a school where our children go for studies, in their very early and early years. The schools like the Montessori’ s, Kindergartens and, the primary to senior schools are where a student goes through a sequential progression to various levels of knowledge and learning, from as basic as a letter to as scientific as designing a robot.
These schools may follow any curriculum, but the objective is the same – toensure the child starts thinking, applying knowledge, becomes practical and starts involving himself in the activities of the day. These schools are the places where the students take the first steps towards team building, of leadership and management and of developing understanding and tolerance.
