TIFFANY ' S TAKE
Wow - it ’ s October already ! Does anyone feel like it ’ s been the longest , yet shortest year ever ? While this year has had more downs than ups , it ’ s always good to stop and be grateful for what you have . I ’ d like to share a few things I ’ m grateful for :
• Private Country Clubs : If it wasn ’ t for them cancelling events and weddings due to COVID-19 , we wouldn ’ t have gotten all the pop-up celebrations that decided to have their parties here instead !
• Technology : Staying in touch with my colleagues has been possible with email , video chats and social media .
• Loyal Clients : Continuing to host weekly and monthly events , while still practicing social distancing has created a sense of security that does not go unnoticed .
• Spanish Wells Team : Every single person on our team goes above and beyond with trying to make this club better every day ! Being flexible and accommodating are the bare minimum of what this team does during these uncertain times .
• Cara is doing a great job taking the in-person fitness classes and transitioning them to on-demand and live classes so you can still stay in shape in the comfort of your own home .
• Rich and his team have been working extremely hard on the North greens all summer so they ’ re in tiptop condition for you and your guests to enjoy , and let me tell you , they look fantastic !
• Brad is working hard in the Pro Shop and on the tee sheet to maximize revenue come busy season .
• Chef Savage has created new menus and continues to invent new recipes to satisfy your every craving .
• Debbie balances out the accounts and crunches numbers harder than anyone I ’ ve ever met before . Her attention to detail is impeccable , she could find a mistake a computer would miss !
• Tim and our service staff do a phenomenal job every time you dine with us , from take-out to Prime Rib dinners , he and his team are determined to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience with us .
• Last , but certainly not least , how could I forget Bill , our fearless leader . Bill has a way of making sure everyone on our team feels secure in their own special way . He helps us when we need it ( even if we don ’ t ask for it ). He checks-in to make sure we ’ re okay . He doesn ’ t flinch at the thought of building a new deck for the Bocce courts . If you need him to run outside to get the archway out of the pouring rain … he ’ s already running to get it ! He ’ s definitely the glue that holds our team together and I know everyone is grateful for Bill and his leadership , loyalty and passion for this team and the club .
