Apple & Walnut Pie

INGREDIENTS : Dough :
• 1 ¾ Cups of All-Purpose Flour
• ¼ Cup of Granulated Sugar
• 1 Tsp of Cinnamon
• ½ Tsp of Salt
• 2 / 3 Cup of Butter
• Apple Juice to Bind Dough
• Filling :
• 1 ½ Cups of Sour Cream
• 1 Large Egg
• 1 Cup of Granulated Sugar
• ¼ Cup of All-Purpose Flour
• 2 Tsp of Vanilla Extract
• ½ Tsp of Salt
• 6 Large Apples Sliced
Topping :
• ½ Cup of Butter
• ½ Cup of All-Purpose Flour
• 1 / 3 Cup of Granulated Sugar
• 1 / 3 Cup of Brown Sugar
• 1 Tbsp of Cinnamon
• ¼ Tsp of Sale
• 1 Cup of Chopped Walnuts
METHOD :
Make dough like a classic dough . Do not over mix ! Make topping by combining all ingredients , cut butter into ¼ inch chunks . Should be crumbly .
Mix all filling ingredients , except the apples until smooth . Add in the apples .
Line a 9- or 10-inch spring form pan with dough going up the sides 3 inches . Cool in the freezer for 30 minutes . Fill with filling .
Please in a 375⁰ oven & let bake until custard is firm . Stir at about ¾ of the way done . Top evenly with topping & finish in the oven until brown . Let cool . Slice & serve .
