Years ago entertainment facilities for children on the Costa del Sol were extremely limited. Afternoon activities with the children was a choice between a rather precarious trip to the park – inevitably involving arguments over the single swing and splinter removal from the ancient wooden slide or a visit to Burger King just so the kids can suffer from heat exhaustion in the plastic ball park tubes.
RoundaboutSpain.com has been set up by two mums who have spent endless hours in pursuit of activities to keep their energetic children entertained on both wet and sunny days.
Today the choice of where to go from ball parks to bike tracks and ice rinks to go-karting is vast, whilst private classes can teach your youngsters to dance, sing, play music or be the next Beckham. There are children’s entertainers on hand for parties, midwives to help get you started or babysitters to get you out. For a bit of family time, restaurants and bars now cater for, and welcome children, whilst some even supply play parks so you can rest with a well earned glass of something and digest your food.
