When the opportunity to raise money by skydiving was first mentioned, my first instinct was to say no, as I am so very afraid of heights. However, having almost lost my own life 2 years ago through illness, I realised that now being perfectly healthy, I could overcome my fear of heights, and in doing so, raise money for this extremely worthy and essential cause.
Myself and my colleague, Caroline Radcliffe, are going out and about along the coast, visiting venues and events, promoting the skydive and finding sponsors. Any businesses who sponsor us are also recognised for their generosity on the skydive Facebook group page that has been set up for us.
Caroline is from Manchester and a qualified beauty therapist and specialises in nails. She has lived here for 10 years.
Anybody can sponsor us by contacting us via the skydive Facebook page or simply making a donation to our PayPal account online, that has been set up specially for the skydive.
I love Spanish food, but the best are the old traditional recipes, as made by most Spanish housewives. I make my own gazpacho as it makes such a tasty light lunch in summer.

My music tastes vary widely. I love dance music and RnB, right through to classical and opera.
My favourite holiday destination is, without a doubt, Cuba. I have many Cuban friends and have been lucky enough to have experienced their true lifestyle by being invited into their homes and I was amazed at their generosity and resourcefulness, when they have so little.
I don't miss much from the UK, as I have mostly everything I need here on the Costa Del Sol, although I do miss the West End theatre and events like the big county shows, and I am hoping to be going back to the UK for the West Berkshire Show later this month.
My three wishes would probably be the same as a lot of other people's, I expect. They would be for world peace, an end to poverty and that in my life, I can make a difference for the better.
