place. We have to adapt. This is where collaborations emerge, discussion happens and thoughts collide. For the first time, excitement sparks. We adapt to each other, we share ideas and develop concepts. We try things. We push ourselves into new realms of making. I had forgotten how much fun making can be. Or at least forgotten to remember. To not be weighed down by an initial concept or theory. Just the simple process of going out and doing something. Anything. We did make in the end. Not in anyway I had imagined before arriving here. Maybe it took travelling to a new space, a new city, a different country to make me realise there is more to making than material.
