High relief bronze Medallion (2½” diameter) from a participant
with Berlin Olympics logo on reverse and stylized athlete on
obverse. Aged patina. There were 20,000 medals minted. Fine
condition.

Australia coin, group of 21 year 2000 Medal Winner covers
franked with Australian issues and each signed by respective
athlete, a few assorted other country franked covers with
athlete’s signature. A few USA highlights include: 1932 Lake
Placid cacheted FDC (#716) signed by Cecilia Colledge &
inscribed ‘youngest Olympic competitor’; 1932 Los Angeles
FDC (#718-19) signed by James W. Burton ‘World’s
Champion/Rope Climber’; Pan-American Games FDCs (x40)
each signed by a USA or foreign athlete including Alma
Richards ‘1912 Stockholm High Jump Champion’, Fred Tootell
‘1924 Hammer Throw’ & others; assorted other FDCs & event
covers for 1972-96 Games each signed by athlete. Interesting
collection. Overall fine to very fine.
