Boudreau. Also signed by infielder Bill Goodman, 1950 Rookie
of the Year Walt Dropo, catcher Birdie Tebbetts, pitcher Vern
Bickford (threw only no hitter in 1950), pitcher Ray
Scarborough, and HOF sportswriter Warren Brown. In the top
blank margin of the cover, Joe Cronin has penned ‘What’s the
matter/with the tape?/Joe Cronin.’ Attractive item, very fine.

Legendary New York Yankee Hall of Fame centerfielder, The
Mick (1931-95) signed this significant Mantle collectible, a
vintage, June 8, 1969, historic four-page ‘A Day to Remember!’
program (Mickey Mantle Day) brochure, created by the New
York Yankees to commemorate The event. Brochure is 8"x10",
and signed ‘Mickey Mantle’ across his color photo on inside
page. Signature, in blue Sharpie (signed during 1980s) is
especially dark, bold and pristine. Very fine and key.

Legal sized entire, green and red advertisement for the August
26, 1937 Louis-Farr World Heavyweight Match at Yankee
Stadium. Printed text advertising the 44th Street Hotel (East
of Broadway) on back. Franked with 3¢ violet Washington
tied with Aug 2, 1937 Long Branch, NJ wavy line machine
cancel. Joe Louis was at the height of his career in 1937 and
Tommy Farr was the UK heavyweight champion. Louis was
declared the victor by points in a controversial decision. Very
fine and attractive.
