Group of thirteen (13) First Day Covers commemorating the
Babe Ruth stamp, each with various cachet drawings and
portraits of the Bambino. All of these FDCs at least one
autograph, with 24 signers in all, including: Ted Williams (HOF,
blue sharpie), Sandy Koufax (HOF, blue sharpie, slightly
smeared) and Whitey Ford (HOF blue sharpie), Phil Niekro
(HOF), Joe Sewell (HOF) and Frank Crosetti, Steve Garvey
and Billy Williams (HOF), Bobby Doerr (HOF) and Johnny
Pesky, Phil Rizzuto (HOF), Hank Bauer and Tommy Henrich,
plus several more. Interesting selection of autographed Babe
Ruth covers.

1983 JOE DIMAGGIO & TED WILLIAMS SIGNED

Two First Day Covers commemorating the Babe Ruth stamp
(date-stamped 7/6/1983), each featuring a bold signature from
two Baseball Golden Age icons: Joe DiMaggio and Ted
Williams. DiMaggio has signed a cover with a beautiful Glen
Cachet image of the Bambino, and also carries on it, besides
the Ruth stamp, a stamp out of Ajman featuring DiMaggio.
Williams has signed a cover commemorating various American
League sluggers, Ruth, Cobb and Williams himself. Williams
signature in bold black ballpoint, and DiMaggio’s in blue
ballpoint. Both excellent signatures.

1984 COVER FEATURING DIZZY & DAFFY DEAN
CUT SIGNATURES ............................................... PH $350-500

A constructed item, a cover featuring the Dean brothers, Dizzy
and Paul (‘Daffy’), commemorating the 50th anniversary of a
double-header shutout pitched by both, including a no-hitter
by Paul. Two cut signatures have been affixed to the lower
right hand corner, Dizzy Dean on top and Paul ‘Daffy’ Dean
on bottom, both in blue ballpoint. Date of signatures unknown.
However, they are stellar autographs.

1985 ROGER MARIS AUTOGRAPHED COVER

An incredible find! Cover commemorating the former Yankee
legend Roger Maris, signed by Maris in blue sharpie! Cover
carries beautiful silk cachet portrait of Maris, and is datestamped April 15th 1985... this is only eight months prior to
his early death due to Hodgkins lymphoma. Signature a little
shaky but still all Maris. An excellent and ultra-rare collectible!

1988-95 OFFICIAL MLB DODGER COVERS,
MANY SIGNED, W/ KOUFAX & MORE ............. PH $750-1000

Three Official Sports Series albums filled with covers commemorating Brooklyn Dodgers Baseball. Dating from 1988 to
1995, the first two albums (1988 and 1989) feature covers
that carry beautiful silk cachet portraits of the players; the last
album features covers with printed B&W pictures (1992 to
1995). All carry postmarks of various dates. Total of 113 covers,
with just under half autographed by the featured player. Signers
here include: Sandy Koufax (HOF), Don Drysdale (HOF), Duke
Snider (x2, HOF), Pee Wee Reese (x5 HOF), Dick Williams
(HOF), Tommy Lasorda (HOF), Leo Durocher (x2, HOF), Don
Newcombe, Johnny Podres (x2), Don Zimmer, Eddie Stanky,
Dolph Camilli, Carl Erskine (x2), Andy Pafko, Ralph Branca
and Bobby Thomson (the only non-Dodger) on the same cover,
and many more. All autographs very fine. An excellent gift for
the life-long Dodger fan!

ROGER MARIS CUT SIGNATURE ...................... PH $400-600

A cut signature from Yankee great Roger Maris. This 1"x2"
cut has been affixed to a First Day Cover dated October 1st,
1984, commemorating Maris’ belting his 61st Home Run in
1961, thereby breaking Ruth’s record for single season homers.
Signature on the cut is simply beautiful in blue ballpoint. Age
of cut unknown. Nicely put together present
