Many of our seniors attended to the
Senior Samelan and they all enjoyed
the 70th Anniversary of Independence
cerebrations.
Our annual BBQ went ahead this year
considering we had to cancel it last
year due to bad weather. Everyone
enjoyed socialing and playing rounders.
The Beach trip was a success once
again with the sun shining all day in
Great Yarmouth.
The youth held meet and greet
events to get youth activities going.
Unfortunately, due to very low interest
and lack of commitment from the youth
nothing has come to fruition.
As a small branch we are grateful to all
volunteers and supporters of SPA Luton.
Thanks to all committee members and
their families for their hard work and
support for all our events.
For any committee to be effective it
must have the support of the local
community to attend the organised
events and to get involved, so that the
Samaj continues.
