‘‘Gitaben and I
have now come
to the end of
our two year
appointment
as Mahila
Convenor and
Secretary...’’
Gitaben and I have now come to the end
of our two year appointment as Mahila
Convenor and Secretary. Both myself
and Gitaben have learnt many new things
during the last 2 years through guidance
and support from Mahila veterans and
HQ has really helped us progress and
become better within ourselves and to
respect others and their ideas. However it
has been a tremendous experience and a
very steep learning curve for both of us.
Something that we both will treasure for
the rest of our lives.
Our Assistants in Tameside have
supported us extremely well over the last
two years and I am sure they will prove
to be very successful themselves over the
next two years. We wish them all the best
and would like to thank everyone who
has helped us over the last two years.
