As many of you are aware there are two main aspects to Shree Prajapati Association (UK):

Charitable activities via our International Trust Fund (SPAITF)
Over the last thirteen years YOU have donated a staggering £200,000+ to SPAITF and this has been distributed to
support projects such as:
• Haiti project - “Funded Class room and computers”
• Kelvani project
• Rotary Eye
• Kanya Chaatralay - “Building Girls Hostel, Navsari”
• Education grant to Prajapati students in India
The above are just a few examples of where Prajapati members have helped the needy via SPAITF. If
we add the donations made to various charities by all fourteen branches, collectively the figure is over
£300,000!
The Challenge for us all is, could we raise such sums for SPA (UK)?

Activities for Prajapati members in the UK (see reports in this issue)
In addition to raising and distributing funds to other charitable causes, SPA (UK) also provide a platform to bring
together ALL Prajapatis in the UK by organising various annual events such as:
• Mahila Samelan
• Seniors Samelan
• Sports Day
• Family Fun Day
• Youth Ball
• Single? Let’s Mingle!
All of these events are extremely popular and well attended, however, as with anything, there are costs attached to
organising such events. With rising costs over the past few years, it is proving extremely diffic ult to cover the cost for
such popular events. SPA UK funds are depleting extremely fast.
Our appeal to all members is to help raise funds for SPA (UK)/SPAITF so that we can continue with our charitable
activities, and continue to provide the service to our members in the UK. You can personally make a difference by:
• Joining the SPA (UK) national sponsored fund raiser event on Sunday 30th November 2014
• Supporting and attending one of the regional events being organised in the new year
• Contact your local branch Secretary/President for further information
