The Single? Let’ s Mingle! event continues to grow from strength to strength and is now into its fourth year.
The most recent event took place on 12th April 2014 with the theme of a casino night along with the established speed introductions. Nearly 70 tickets were sold with many new attendees who networked and mingled with one another in a fun, relaxed environment. The function room at Leicester City Football Club was great and the staff at the venue were extremely helpful. Lots of single Prajapatis connected and exchanged numbers during and after the event.
The Single? Let’ s Mingle! events are about networking. If you are using this event to find for a suitable marriage partner, remember that although the participants you meet at our events may not fit the requirement, they may know someone who does. It’ s all about getting to meet new people, making new friends and networking.
A few people have contacted us to say they met their now husband / wife at one of our events. There may be more who wish to keep things private, but we are happy to hear from those who wish to share their good news. This encourages us to continue to arrange this event.
To continue to keep the events fresh it is vital to introduce new members to the team and a couple of attendees expressed their interest in helping to organise future events. This is a positive step forward.
There is also a demand to have more frequent events but on a smaller scale. There are also thoughts about having 35 + age group events too.
We need to ensure that the Youth in our Samaj are able to network in a suitable environment to ensure the future of the Samaj remains strong.
Finally, I would like to thank my Team, whom without, the events would not be as successful as they are! Also a very big thank you to SPA( UK) and SPA Luton for their full 100 % support. Thank You.
