Leigh Scher is a self-professed 'spa product junkie'. She has been an aesthetician for 8 years working in hair salons and spas all around the Greater Toronto area and Guelph. A graduate of Sheridan Cosmetic Techniques and Management and the Beauty Exchange Aesthetics School, she loves trying out any beauty product she can get her hands on, so when the opportunity to write for Spa Life Magazine came around it was a perfect match! 2 years ago she bought her first home and settled down in Guelph with her fiancé, their two dogs and two cats. Sigrid Hart is a Reflexologist with a strong belief in natural therapies and a holistic approach to health. Her passion as a "helper" led her to pursue training in reflexology, and she achieved certification in 2013. She is registered with the Reflexology Registration Council of Ontario (RRCO). Her philosophy includes a compassionate approach to well-being, and self-care. Lisa Mackay graduated Esthetics from Seneca College in 1998, and adopted the motto “beauty from the inside out,” then studying fitness and nutrition, becoming a personal trainer and gymnastics coach. Utilizing beauty and fitness experience, led her to compete on fitness pageant stages. Lisa’s “real-world” writing strives from her live-outside-of-the-box career path, six years at Toronto’s Anti-Spa, The Ten Spot, then a year overseas in Amsterdam, as a Waxologist at Strips Waxing-Bar, to most recently, the Spa Director at Bamboo Spa, Georgian Bay’s first “go-green” spa.

Chris Ryall is a self-confessed spa addict. He has been one for more than 30 years. "I need to be kneaded – and wrapped and exfoliated," says Chris. He has experienced everything from fish spas and chocolate bean polishes to four-handed massages and caviar facials in more than 50 countries on six continents. Along the way he has seen and experienced the good, the bad, and the ugly of the spa industry.
