Mary I was late for my appointment and received on a 40-minute massage and charged me for the full hour even though I didn’t get it. Do you think that was fair?

Dear Kate,

Every spa tries to deliver a great service because they really want you to come back. If you are late it’s your responsibility to let them know. Secondly I am sure if they didn’t have someone who was on time schedulesd next and waiting for their appointment the massage therapist would have continued on as she would want you to be happy. She did her best to accommodate you even though you were late. Being late is serious when you are running a spa because everything is sold on time. One hour massages, 45 minute pedicures, 30 minute mani’s. I know you realize it’s not a perfect world but put yourself in their shoes, you can’t back up the appointments that day because of one customer and keep everyone else waiting.

Let them know you'd like to come back. Next visit be on time and you will have a great experience and be very relaxed and not stressed about being late!
