Port MacNeill, British Columbia

Nimmo Bay Resort is only accessible by helicopter or by boat – no roads lead to this exclusive wilderness resort set in the Great Bear Rainforest in British Columbia. Though difficult to get to it’s worth the trek. The resort has won numerous awards and received an accolade from National Geographic as one of the most unique lodges in the world. From luxurious cabins set in a rainforest and mountains as your neighbour, Nimmo Bay offers a romantic getaway including spa treatments with wilderness and adventure.

Take a helicopter ride to the top of Mt. Stephens to watch a sunset or have the pilot drop you off on a secluded island with a gourmet picnic lunch with champagne and blanket. No massage therapist but couple’s therapy for sure! Have a massage and relax in one of the two outdoor cedar hot tubs breathing and viewing Mother Nature’s finest.
