100% pure
Okay. When I first saw this brand I was so excited to try it. All natural makeup pigmented with flowers and berries? That sounded amazing. I don't think I can live without the Creamstick Lipstick. I love it. It doesn't dry my lips out and it stays all day. The foundations smell great and blend so well into my skin. I loved the Black Tea Liquid Eyeliner and mascara. No flaking at all and they were super black. The fact that this is a natural line and make these are wonderful products I can't wait to try more.
Pangea
I have dry skin. I always have, even when I was really young. So I’m always looking for creams that make my skin feel hydrated all day. Meet Pangea Organics Italian Mandarin and Red Rose Facial Cream. I absolutely love this cream, it makes my skin so soft and supple and it feels amazing. I love anything with rose in it as it helps keep my skin calm and free of redness. FYI it’s an amazing ingredient for anti-aging. It’s an organic product and anyone with normal to dry skin can use this cream. Check it out!
Perricone MD No makeup makeup
I have heard great things about their skincare so I knew the makeup had to be amazing. I always do my makeup pretty natural, as I like to look like myself just better. The cream blush looked so good on my skin and was super easy to blend. I loved the foundation. It didn’t feel caked at all. Blended into my skin perfectly. My favourite I think was the concealer. I get pretty dark under eye circles and this stuff covered them up so well. I would recommend this makeup line to anyone. It’s amazing. I can't wait to try the lipstick that is next on my list!
Sappho Cosmetics
The first thing that impressed me with this brand was the beautiful packaging. I received a gorgeous metal case with individual eye shadows and blushes with magnetic backs to organize in the palette however I wanted! I found the eye shadow and blush to be highly pigmented. I also received a set of makeup brushes , they are so soft and made blending super easy. The foundation was soft and lovely smelling and very easy to blend and the liquid foundations are preserved entirely with essential oils. There was also a little card that had a list of ingredients on it that should not ever be in makeup or skincare, teaching ‘us’ the consumers. This being an eco-friendly and organic natural line I couldn’t have been more impressed.
Anointment
Everything is in glass amber bottles and pots, which is very good for storing skincare products as exposure to sunlight can hard on them. It’s a Canadian company too. My favourite was the Powder Clay Cleanser/Mask. You just add a little water (or tea) and mix up and use this amazing product to wash and scrub your face and you can even leave it on as a wonderful mask. The Shea butter balm was also a favourite in my house. It’s so incredibly thick a tiny bit goes such a long way. I used it on my face, elbows, knees and really all over whenever I was feeling really dry. My fiancé loved to use it on his tattoos to keep them moist and shiny and bright. I love this Canadian brand and will definitely be purchasing more in the future!
Jane Iredale Refill Me – Loose Powder Travel Brush
Is a great idea and came from a travel inspiration but I love it to put in my purse and not have to lug around the loose powder, a compact, a mirror and make up bag, I just pull out this and use ever so lightly and away I go! Simply twist off the base and fill with a skin-loving loose powder using the enclosed scoop. Twist the brush base back on and turn to the open position to allow powder to flow through.
