Safari Spa and Salon was established in 2003 in Red Deer Alberta by Jason Volk and Corine Sim. This dynamic brother and sister team have been in the beauty industry for 27 years, as partners of Chatters Salons and Tommy Gun’s Original Barbershops. The duo had a vision of opening a spa with five star customer service which would serve as an escape from everyday life. The business flourished for the next 10 years and due to popular demand the salon relocated and expanded, doubling its original size to 4475 square feet. The new location opened in Clearview Market, Red Deer in March 2013.
Corine’s desire for a modern contemporary design with an earthy feel caters perfectly towards her goal to provide an escape from everyday life the moment her guests enter the front door. Offering strawberries and chocolate, icy milk and fresh warm cookies, along with a variety of seasonal snacks and beverages, this spa and salon is that escape. Safari Spa and Salon is designed to please the customer with their five star services and an impeccable range of specialty indulgences to suit every need. All spa private rooms include a very modern and posh fireplace, and to top it off there are spacious steam showers in the men’s and women’s change rooms. This spa was created as a deluxe environment: everything from glass mosaic and Italian tiles, fireplaces, frosted glass, lighted mirrors, refurbished wood tables and extra plush chairs. With an up to date Aveda lifestyle salon, Safari offers the best products on the market. Safari Spa & Salon offers massages (massage services include deep tissue, therapeutic, hot stone and trigger, relaxation, prenatal and reflexology), facials, manicures, pedicures, body wraps, body polishes, aromatherapy, waxing, lash extensions, and hair styling for men, women, and children, among other services.
Safari Spa and Salon offers 2 large manicure and pedicure areas, with 7 pedicure stations and 4 manicure stations. Each of the 7 treatment rooms upstairs are a tranquil oasis for a variety of massage packages and treatments. A serenity area is available to relax before and after your appointment. The beautiful new facility captures the essence of a luxury experience that you would expect at a resort spa. Safari’s packages are offered for individuals, couples and the design allows for larger parties as well. The luxury experience brings an incredible escape that leaves you feeling invigorated and relaxed.
