Work Experience

Fine Arts

Born in Seoul, I was the eldest and the only female between by 2 brothers. When I started to attend elementary school, through the help of my Mother I was able to take up my very first extracurricular activity, which was art. I spent a significant amount of time within this studio as a child creating, exploring and expressing myself as an individual. As time passed I developed a kind of fondness for the time I spent within the studio, although it took many hours to get to the studio and back, I can only remember very vivid and pleasant memories within the studio. Much like many of the things I do, I was extremely dedicated to my work in the studio. Putting many hours into learning new techniques, creating more complex pieces and putting out my best and just creating something I was able to say that was mine. Time passed and soon it came time for me to graduate and move onto university, and even now it seemed only natural that I went into fine arts and it seemed so natural for me to do so. The transition was just so well laid out and I knew that this is what I enjoyed and I knew it was the only thing I would want to do. I spent much of my time as a university student very happy and content on what I studied and not only this I was able to put out some of my finest pieces during this time. Whether it was in school or even outside I was actively involved in fine arts, attending exhibitions, planning exhibitions and as well as going to galleries simply because it appealed to me so much. It may sound silly but, to me all of this work I put into art and all the hours I spent inside a studio, I think is the very heart and soul of my arts foundation and not only this, but my life.
