LUCKENBACH
By Bridget Decker
Luckenbach is not the
drunken, live music town it
seems. Even though
there is a beer barn, there
are chickens roaming the
dirt road, and historical
markers throughout the
three building town. With
a gift shop, the beer barn
and an old house, the
population is only 3. There
are live music festivals,
but usually in the spring. It’s not always rowdy with Willie Nelson
songs, most of the time its is quiet and peaceful. With a bronzed
statue of Hondo Crouch, there is a whole fun history lesson with it.
including German settlers, a school, and lots of other things. If you
are ever going to
Fredericksburg, stop on by!
