water. In the spring, the desert is sprinkled with small yellow and pink wildflowers, making for some great photos. If you visit the park in the rainy monsoon season, the desert plants should have their green leaves, provided that it's not in the middle of a drought. The ocotillo plant for example, can look like a pile of dead sticks, and then if it rains, it looks like a lively green shrub just two days later.

Despite it's popularity, the Saguaro Cactus is only found in select places in southern Arizona and California. What are you waiting for? Hop in the car and visit this truly special and amazing park.
