3 Southwest Highways & Fields

Greetings, friends.

I would like to start off by thanking you for sticking with us in the magazine's very humble beginning. As some of you may know, Texas Outdoors & Farm Magazine has been discontinued, and is now Southwest Highways & Fields. The magazine has been remodeled, with new and different features and subject matter. We still have most of the favorites from Texas Outdoors & Farm, including llama cartoons by Bridget Decker, and informative horse facts and travel information every month. I have spent many nights and weekends trying to improve this magazine, adding several new monthly features. However, This project will not succeed without your help! I am not asking for a donation of the financial type, but for you to take some of your spare time (which I know is very limited) and write a short article, or send me a photograph or drawing to publish. Our readers are our most valuable asset, and it would be wonderful if I could publish y'all's works, making Southwest Highways & Fields a compilation of knowledge, experiences, and artwork shared by the very special community of Southwest H&F. My goal for this publication is not to make money, or show off to my friends; My goal is to create a fun, educational place for people to share what they love about the wonderful place that is the Southwestern USA.

The fact that y'all have stayed with me through these turbulent times in my publishing ventures, and that awful November issue, really means something. (and kudos to those who are actually reading this letter).

So let us all come together and enrich our Southwestern community, from Salt Lake City, Utah to Brownsville, Texas.

Just my two cents,

Eamon Decker, Editor
