3 Southwest Highways & Fields
Dear readers,
I would like to personally thank you for taking time to read this fourth issue of Southwest Highways & Fields. I am always looking to improve the magazine, so this month we are featuring a new birding article written by avian expert Susan Decker. Last month's Southwest Legends article was a success, so I am continuing it this month with an unusual West Texas phenomenon: The Marfa Lights. Please read the fantastic kayak fishing article by first-time contributer Mike Gresham. Frankly, I am surprised that this magazine has lasted this long, and it definitely would not have if it wasn't for those people who contributed articles and pictures. In order for this magazine to succeed, we need your help. Why not send us an article, photograph, or even an advertisement (they're free!). If you don't, then who will? If you can't contribute, then simply reading this magazine helps us a lot more than you may think.
Once again, I deeply thank our readers, contributers, and editors that make this publication possible. Without all of y'all, this magazine would be nothing. So give yourself a pat on the back, and dive into the pages to discover more about the American Southwest.
