As you know, writing is an art and much has been written on the craft. But aside from good writing, talent isn’t the only prerequisite for writing success. The art of self-care also determines whether we make it as writers, perhaps even more than good writing. The following ten commandments of self-care can help you produce your best possible literary work and sustain you over the long haul. Thou shalt maintain a positive outlook, no matter the amount of self-doubt or number of rejections. Outwit your negativity bias by offsetting it with a positivity bias: un
