Change may be abundant in the garden this time of year, but you won’ t need change, paper or plastic to roam the gardens yourself. Entry is always open to the public and they are always looking for volunteers to join the community. If serenity in nature appeals to you, then the West Virginia Botanic Garden is for you.
Cole is looking forward to the blooming red buds. Along with his colleague, Abagail Waugh, both agree that the red buds are their favorite flora in the gardens.
Waugh a Preston County native and West Virginia University graduate, is the educational director at the Botanic Garden. She loves teaching people about the beauty of the outdoors and the variety of fauna and flora you can find therein. She too noted the profundity of nature’ s constant change, and the depth of connections people make with nature at the garden.
The West Virginia Botanic Garden is a wonderful place for families, senior citizens and other curious folk. Their doors are always open and they are looking for people to join their community.
Natural change is the best kind of change, the kind of change that is calculated and methodical. Change should feel like a flowing river and not like hitting a brick wall.
If you want to make a positive change in your life, a good place to start is one where you can connect with your inner-self, connect with others, and connect with the world in which we inhabit. That good place to start for you, could be the West Virginia Botanic Garden.
