In the past year a number of new
businesses have been revitalizing the
hamlet of Highland, creating a buzz that
this is the place to be. Just this summer
three new ventures have opened or
expanded their operations.
Verlise Boutique
Michelle Tingson-Pregno and Cheryll
Elaine Rincon have joined forces as Verlise
Boutique to offer Doterra Essential Oils,
‘Me To You’ products such as scrubs,
soaps and sprays and a line of women’s
latest fashions, unique handbags and
jewelry.
Tingson-Pregno said “This all-in-
one boutique has everything, so if you
want anything from jewelry and all the
fashion trends of makeup, clothing, and
handbags, we have that. We also carry
home products and handmade products
as well.”
Rincon said, “most of the items
here are personally hand-picked by me
and they are on the fashion trends in
affordable prices.”
The new location also has a
photography studio.
Last month Rincon moved from a
smaller store across the street into a much
larger place at 8 Main Street in Highland.
They are a member of the Highland
Business Association and are open from
Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m.
to 7 p.m. They can be reached at 845-834-
3600 and have a website www.verlise.com
and can be found on Facebook at Verlise
Boutique.
Rincon
and
Tingson-Pregno
established Helping Hands, a non-profit
charity. This year they raised money
for a church in the Philippines that was
affected by an earthquake.
