Standing in his way is Democrat Juan Figueroa, who is also on the ‘People of Plattekill’ line. Croce began his political career in Plattekill in 2010 as a Town Councilman. He became the Deputy Supervisor for Bruce Joe Croce Loertscher and upon his passing in 2013 Croce was appointed to the position of Supervisor. He is now running for a full third term and will be on the Republican, Conservative and Independence lines Juan Figueroa this November. Croce has worked on five town budgets “and we have not had a tax increase in the Town General fund in any of those Continued on page 4 Mark Reynolds Boy Scout Robert Ahlers built a dog park at the Milton Landing Park as part of the requirement for Eagle Scout. He had the support of his fellow scouts and many in the business and governmental communities. By MARK REYNOLDS [email protected] Robert Ahlers started out in the first grade as a Tiger Scout and stuck with it and at the age of 16 recently completed the final requirement for the rank of Eagle Scout by building a dog park in the upper portion of the Milton Landing Park off of Sands Avenue. “I came up with the idea [for the park] because Marlborough didn’t have WWW.SOUTHERNULSTERTIMES.COM a dog park and as an owner of two dogs I really wanted a place a little closer than Gardner; someplace to let them run around other than our yard,” he said.
