Miller said there was also a FAST unit [Firefighter Assist and Search Team] from Arlington, bringing the total to 45 firefighters at the scene. “It’s the industry norm to have it at a structure fire where you have guys [firefighters] inside,” he said of FAST. “That team is strictly to rescue firefighters should they get in trouble. If we get guys trapped, they fall through a floor or the ceiling collapses on them, [the] firefighter calls Mayday and the FAST team is the one tasked to go rescue that firefighter.” Miller said the fire apparently
