Plattekill Councilpersons Dean DePew
and Cindy Delgado said they have met
several times with library trustees to
discuss the possible sale of the town
owned structure and the land to them.
The Library is located at 2047 Rte. 32 in
Modena.

Last Friday evening Kayla M. Pagan,
25, of Marlboro, was arrested and charged
with Criminally Negligent Homicide, a
class E felony, in the drowning death of
her 10-month-old daughter.
After an investigation conducted by

of Marlborough
Police

the
Ulster
County District
Attorney, it was
determined
that at about
7:30
p.m.,

bath but left her unsupervised “for an
unreasonable amount of time” as the
bath continued to fill with water this
resulted in the drowning death of her
daughter, according to a press release by
the New York State Police.
