Marlborough Supervisor helps to bring cable to resident
After several years in limbo, Luke
Sukunda has finally gotten high speed
cable/internet to his home in the area of
Mahoney Rd.
Sukunda reached out to Supervisor
Al Lanzetta because two cable companies
were involved and the cost of poles and
wiring was prohibitive at nearly $8,000.
Lanzetta reached out to Dan Ahouse,
who worked for the cable company Altice,
on behalf of the Sukunda family. After
numerous conversations Lanzetta was
able to get the proper lines brought in to
Sukunda’s home at no cost.
“Altice paid for it, so it was a happy
ending,” Lanzetta said, pointing out that
Sukunda’s school age children are now
able to easily access school assignments
and contact teachers when needed.
Lanzetta said being able to help a

situation “is a big accomplishment. I
actually changed somebody’s life. I can’t
tell you how many times he thanked
me...I am happy that everything went
right.”
Luke Sukunda said it was a very
frustrating experience that took a long
time to solve. He said he is glad it is over
and appreciates Lanzetta’s assistance on
this seemingly intractable issue.
