Supervisor
opposes barges
at river’s edge

Marlborough Supervisor Al Lanzetta
said a recent proposal by the Coast Guard
to park boats and barges in various

In a recent letter to media outlets,

By MARK REYNOLDS

This year NY Representative Chris
Gibson decided not seek reelection to his
congressional seat in the 19th district,
but instead will be returning to teaching
at Williams College in Massachusetts.
This left the race wide open, and after
the primary season, Zephyr Teachout
emerged as the Democratic candidate and
John Faso the Republican candidate.
The NY 19th is comprised of
Columbia, Delaware, Dutchess, Ulster,
Sullivan, Greene, Rensselaer, Broome,
Ostego, Schoharie and Montgomery
counties.
