Confederate Homes Help Out
Onthe Southern homefront there is so much help from confederate families. Women have taken over the households and are doing the duties the males used to do. Families are donating shoes and wool jackets in effort to help the men in the winter. Some women have taken on the role of sneaking in supplies like morphine through dolls to the soldiers. A lot of women are helping in hospitals to heal soldiers too. WOmen are strating to become teachers and other jobs for the first times. There is also extreme inflation in the Confederate states due to the making of more bills. Inflation is up by nine thouasand percent. Poor people are having trouble affording the simpliest things like milk and sugar. Over all the south is contributing to the war while they are also struggling to stay afloat due to inflation.
