Most of these children are from families with drug and crime problems. Currently, the corps lacks playground equipment for the children to play outside. Currently the India South Eastern Territory supports 167 children in their homes and most of these children come from extreme poverty and are lacking basic clothing needs. Las Acacias Kindergarten – El Bosque Corps, Chile Your gift will help provide new playground equipment that will allow children to have fun in a safe and healthy environment. Educational Materials Ica Division, Peru The general population in the Ica Division, including the schools the children attend, have a high percentage of physical and sexual abuse. Currently, girls as young as 13 are becoming mothers. Research has shown that 63.9 percent of the abuse victims are females, 39.9 percent of them adolescents. Your gift will help provide much needed educational materials to strengthen character, improve self-esteem and allow healing for children that have been victims of all types of abuse. New Chairs India South Eastern Territory, India Your gift will help provide new recreational clothing to the children that are currently residing in their homes. Sunday School & Music School Resistencia Corps, Argentina The Resistencia Corps works closely with vulnerable children that have a high risk of human trafficking and social issues. Currently they have two programs for children, but they are limited to how many can attend due to lack of materials. Your gift will help provide more materials to be purchased for the Sunday school and music school so more children can attend. Visitation of Disabled Children Arco Verde Integration Center, Brazil San Pedro Sula Corps, Honduras Your gift will help provide a nicer environment by allowing the center to purchase new chairs for those attending programs at the center. Your gift will allow for the children of the San Pedro Sula Corps to have a time of visitation and provide gifts and meals to these disabled children in the hospital so that it will brighten their day. The Arco Verde Integration Center provides activities for the surrounding community and currently assists 40-50 children and teenagers daily, but the chairs they are using are over 30 years old. Currently there are 517 disabled children from ages 4 to 15 that are hospitalized at the Mario Catarino Rivas Hospital in San Pedro Sula. The corps in San Pedro Sula would like to have a visitation day that would involve the children of the corps.
