Daja Marie is an American Singer , Songwriter , Rapper . Her career began when she discovered her writing abilities in 2007 . She went on to record her first single and perform her first show in Indiana where she was born and raised . In 2015 she decided to take her talents to Atlanta , GA . After being on tour for years and receiving such a great welcoming feedback with her single “ Bankrolls Like Monopoly ” in the city she felt it was only right to make the move . In support of her last single “ Raindrops ,” and her previous single “ Bankrolls Like Monopoly ,” Daja Marie co-headlined the “ Go Hard or Go Home ” national tour which launched in New York , NY . She joined Silkk The Shocker , Bianca Bonnie , Talone , and Dricky Graham rocking the stage . “ Raindrops ”, available at all digital retailers and streaming services , impacted radio and topped digital radio charts . Daja Marie has graced the stage in a packed house at the legendary Stankonia Studios alongside Nigel Stargate , Keith Robinson , and friends . Currently Daja is promoting the release of her single “ Closet Freakk ” on all major platforms off her soon to release self-titled EP . Since releasing this single , she has opened up for Zaytoven , Tiffany Foxx , Young Dro , Foogiano , Cassidy , DJ Chose , Trap Beckham , Goodie Mobb ( TMoe , Gipp , Khujo , Ceelo Green ), Keith Murray and anticipates many more opportunities . She has graced the cover of SapphirEmrald Magazine and Raynbow Affair Magazine , as well as a feature artist on The Hype Magazine .
