FROM THE

PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD

A Message from the President
The Chamber has played a significant role in my personal and professional journey, providing invaluable connections, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to serve others. Being involved has reinforced the importance of collaboration and community engagement.
It is truly an honor to serve as President of the Southern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce while continuing my role as Business Development Manager with The Job Shop, a position I have proudly held for the past three years. During this time, I’ ve had the privilege of doing what I am most passionate about— connecting top-tier talent with meaningful careers and helping businesses find the people they need to succeed.
What makes this work so personal to me is that I’ ve experienced it from every side of the fence. I’ ve been the employee searching for opportunity, the employer working to build a strong and reliable team, and now the Business Development Manager helping bridge that gap. Because of this, I clearly see the growing need for the services we provide— services that don’ t just fill positions, but truly impact lives, strengthen businesses, and support our local workforce.
The mission of the Southern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce closely aligns with my own values. We are committed to fostering connections, encouraging growth, and giving back to the community we proudly serve.
KEYLA COBB

As we move forward together, I am excited for what’ s ahead and grateful for the opportunity to serve. I look forward to all that’ s to come and to working alongside each of you as we continue building a stronger Southern Kentucky.
With gratitude, Keyla Cobb
President Southern Kentucky
Chamber of Commerce Business Development Manager,
